The modular structure of Crossmedia with its Suite, Producer CL and WebProducer components ensures optimum usage of existing resources. Motifs are developed and edited using DirecType Suite on the computer of the respective graphic artist or digital media designer. The DirecType WebProducer is commanded using URL or PHP script and generates images for live display in browsers, e-mail clients or as a mobile internet application for cell phones. The DirecType Producer CL facilitates the high-volume production of personalized images for digital printing purposes. It is called by a command line direct from the VDP in the digital pre-press.
